So far it feels nice, types well although I'd hardly call the switches silent. Just a shame it's probably more economic to just buy a new keyboard than trying to replace a single faulty switch. Other than that, the keyboard did hold up well over 2 years. If you're in the market for a Mechanical Keyboard, look for hot-swappable, unless you want your keyboard to become e-waste if just a single switch fails. What should be an easy switch replacement would instead require precision soldering and the tools to do it. It's the X key, so it's not like it sees a lot of use. The X switch of all things has an intermittent fault, sometimes registers sometimes doesn't. Would never go back to anything else, highly recommend it. Overall it's an amazing keyboard and well worth the money i spent on it. Comparing it to my old membrane keyboard was like comparing a bottle of red wine to a bottle of vimto. Fits perfectly on my desk and i never use my keyboard without the palm rest since it's so nice to use. It's large enough to comfortably fit a hand and the texture on it makes it feel very smooth.
It's not as soft as the one on the huntsman but its a nice middle ground.
Sat that it doesn't have the macro keys on the side but the volume rocker and dedicated media keys come in handy a lot. Trust me, if you want quiet keys then get silents.įunctionality is nice. If there are people in other rooms at night then only the most sensitive of people are gonna hear it if they even hear it at all. I use cherry silents and they are pretty quiet. Not had any problems with any key at all and feels really smooth. Many don't like the font but i prefer the bold lettering to the more thin appraoch like other brands and i think the thick lettering goes well with rgb. RGB is probably the best you are gonna get on any keyboard since it uses a white background to make the colours pop more and be more vibrant and the corsair app allows you to make any combo's you so which making the rgb possibilities almost endless. It looks high quality, feels high quality, is high quality. Had for many many months now and it's absolutely fantastic.
